What is organised for students on commencement of placement?

Induction to Placement area (Students are welcome to attend for an informal visit prior to starting placement)

Allocation of Practice Assessor / Supervisor

What are the arrangements for mentors/assessors?

Each student will be allocated a Practice Assessor and Supervisor prior to commencing placement, however will work with all members of the MDT.

What shift patterns are students allocated for learning?

Shift Notes:

Monday – Friday 09.00 – 17.00 (excluding Bank Holidays)

What patient care situations are available in this placement?

Specialist Perinatal Mental Health (PMH) services provide care and treatment for women with complex mental health needs and support the developing relationship between parent and baby. They also offer women with mental health needs advice for planning a pregnancy.
